2nd Municipal Adolescent Health Day Celebration

The Local Government Unit of Dumarao successfully conducted the 2nd Municipal Adolescent Health Day Celebration on September 4, 2026, at the Dumarao Sports Complex, with the theme: “Responsible Adolescent: Shaping the Future.”

The celebration gathered adolescents, educators, local officials, health professionals, and various stakeholders to strengthen awareness and understanding of important health and developmental concerns affecting young people.

Vice Mayor Gley Hachuela warmly welcomed the guests and participants through her Welcome Remarks, and Mayor Matt Hachuela also delivered his inspirational message to the youth.

The activity was attended by SB Member Alice Farinas, and Hon. Benjie C. Hallarda, together with resource speakers Dr. Ma. Aimy V. Bialen, HIV Medical Coordinator of RMPH – We Are Clinic, and Mrs. Mary Grace Francisco Somil, Population Officer III and PHO POPDEV Section Head.

Also in attendance were students and representatives from Estefenia Montemayor National High School, Manuel Onato National High School, Ramon A. Benjamin Sr. National High School, Presentacion Diez Gregorio National High and Bungsuan National High School.

This meaningful gathering highlights the collective responsibility of the local government, schools, health sector, and the community in creating an environment where adolescents are informed, responsible, healthy, and empowered to shape a better future.
