The Local Government Unit of Dumarao successfully held its 4th People’s Congress at the Municipal Hall’s OPCEN building, Yesterday, June 25, 2026.
Led by Mayor Matt Hachuela, the assembly gathered local leaders including Vice Mayor Gley Hachuela, the Sangguniang Bayan Members , Department Heads, Barangay Officials, Teachers, and Civil Society Organizations—to collaborate on municipal progress.
The assembly discussed key areas of local development: the utilization of Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data for targeted planning, the proposed municipal ordinance, and the status updates regarding the 4Ps program.
The measures and actions on the concerns of African Swine Fever that affect other municipalities in the Province were also extensively discussed.
The Dumarao Peoples Congress was held to create an open, transparent, and participatory forum within the community of Dumarao.
