The Municipality of Dumarao took another step toward digital transformation with the official launching of Paleng-QR Ph Plus on August 27, 2026, at the Mega Evacuation Center in Dumarao, Capiz. The initiative was conducted in partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) – Roxas Branch.
Vice Mayor Gley Hachuela expressed her full support for the program, highlighting the importance of adopting digital financial services that offer safer, faster, and more convenient payment options for market vendors, transport workers, business owners, and the entire Dumarao community. Mayor Matt Hachuela also attended the activity and showed his support for the municipality’s continued efforts toward digitalization and greater financial inclusion.
Through Paleng-QR Ph Plus, Dumarao encourages the wider use of QR Ph and cashless payment transactions, making everyday payments more accessible and convenient while promoting the safe and responsible use of digital financial services.
